I created an eye-catching visual campaign.
The Problem.
Issues of abuse and violence inflicted on women has been long standing. The toxic cycle pervades through victim blaming, particularly calling on women's clothing.
The Idea.
Following the well known creative women's right campaign, I decided to create a digital art piece that speaks to breaking the culture of victim blaming .
The Piece.
Printed on the risograph I made four individual drawings that together told a bold visual story.
Generating Ideas.
I developed several versions of depicting the same story. Eventually I designed the simplest one. The one that showed a universality to the experience.
The Process.
Working with a new software, device or simply in a new medium, is one of the most exciting moments in creation for me. Learning something new, like the risograph.
Delivering.
Featured in the Tandon School for Engineering exhibition area.
